GFShield is GF\u2019s comprehensive, company-wide commitment and education program to engage every employee to safeguard and protect our and our customers\u2019 intellectual property and products. The GFShield program leverages and embraces GF\u2019s experience as a Trusted Foundry and supplier of advanced semiconductors to the U.S. government and the aerospace and defense industry, as well as GF\u2019s experience as a certified international Common Criteria standard (ISO 15408, CC Version 3.1) manufacturer, and adopts many of those stringent security capabilities to all GF locations and customers. GF is a \u201cTrusted Foundry\u201d for U.S. Government and holds similar designations in Singapore and Germany. Responsible minerals sourcing  <\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

High-purity materials derived from minerals are widely used throughout the electronics and semiconductor industries, including by GF and our suppliers. We are committed to sourcing these materials in the most responsible way. As a member of the Responsible Minerals Initiative, we partner with suppliers and take action to ensure \u201c3TG\u201d minerals (gold, tungsten, tantalum and tin) and cobalt in our supply chain are RMAP compliant.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n
