    Yew Kong Tan<\/h1> <\/div>\n
    \n

    Yew Kong Tan is Senior Vice President and General Manager of APAC Manufacturing and the GF Singapore site. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing GF\u2019s business at the Singapore site and managing strategic manufacturing partnerships across the Asia-Pacific region. <\/p>\n

    Previously, Mr. Tan served as general manager of both GF\u2019s 300mm and 200mm manufacturing operations in Singapore. Under his leadership, the fabs achieved significant improvements across key metrics, including quality, yield, cost, delivery and customer satisfaction. <\/p>\n

    He has been a driving force behind GF\u2019s digital manufacturing transformation, leading the successful scale-up of Industry 4.0 solutions across the company, including GF\u2019s 300mm Fab in Singapore which was named to the World Economic Forum\u2019s Global Lighthouse Network of advanced manufacturers in 2025. <\/p>\n

    Mr. Tan is Vice Chairman of the Singapore Semiconductor Industry Association and a member of the SEMI Southeast Asia Regional Advisory Board. He also serves on the Technology and Innovation Committee under the Singapore Government\u2019s Economic Strategy Review. <\/p>\n

    A 30-year veteran of the semiconductor industry, Mr. Tan holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
